Jena. Einen Spendenscheck in Höhe von 2 577,82 Euro übergab am Donnerstag Dr. Verena König, Inhaberin der Apotheke am Jenzig, an Grit Kersten, Geschäftsführerin der Lebenshilfe Jena.

„Ich freue mich, dass wir mit dieser Spende einen sozialen Beitrag genau dort leisten können, wo er gebraucht wird und übergebe den Scheck stellvertretend für alle Jenaer Apotheken die sich an der Spendenaktion beteiligt haben“.

In guter Tradition verteilten die Apotheken zum Jahresende 2015 ihre Kalender für das kommende Jahr und baten gleichzeitig bei den Jenaer Bürgerinnen und Bürgern, um eine Spende für einen guten Zweck. Insgesamt haben sich 25 Apotheken an der Spendenaktion beteiligt.

Der Erlös fließt in die Freizeit- und Bildungsangebote der Lebenshilfe Jena für Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung und wird u.a. für ein reittherapeutisches Angebot für Kinder und Jugendliche mit schwerstmehrfacher Behinderung verwendet.

Die Lebenshilfe Jena bedankt sich herzlich bei den zahlreichen Spenderinnen und Spendern. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an die teilnehmenden Apotheken und ihr Engagement für eine gute Sache.
